Todd and I still swear it's the most comfortable mattress ever. We've all fallen asleep on Drew's bed at one time or another. I hate Noah's mattress. We bought a cheap one when we got his bed. He's never complained thank goodness. Hard to believe in about 4 months we'll be buying Aiden his big boy bed and mattress! Goodbye crib!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-82188761491118212782007-05-20T20:16:00.000-05:002007-05-20T20:16:00.000-05:00Poor Cody Joe.Poor Cody Joe.Jerilyn Dufresne, authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02720391625949782016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-58447806677092071832007-05-20T17:25:00.000-05:002007-05-20T17:25:00.000-05:00I think you're right jer. That bed was the most comfy bed I've ever had (though only good for ONE person, or you sank to the middle together) I just thought it was time and since mom's was brand new when she passed, i figured it was time. Cody has crabbed ever since.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-28886900575943694502007-05-20T09:18:00.000-05:002007-05-20T09:18:00.000-05:00As long as it's still comfy I think you can keep i...As long as it's still comfy I think you can keep it for a million years. :) Mine has long passed the comfortable point, and is so soft that it more like a pillow than a mattress.Jerilyn Dufresne, authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02720391625949782016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-16753241650601626542007-05-20T01:24:00.000-05:002007-05-20T01:24:00.000-05:00I think it was the Serta Mattress Company that did...I think it was the Serta Mattress Company that did the study saying they should be replaced every 10 years :) Jay and I are sleeping on the mattress we bought when we got married in 1979. The bed itself we got from Cindy. I don't want to ever stop sleeping in that bed, my babies were conceived there. I put clean sheets on the bed a couple of times though. :) Our mattress is still so comfy, it's low on the list of things were replacing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-4969642372414411032007-05-19T10:21:00.000-05:002007-05-19T10:21:00.000-05:00Wow. I bought my bedroom set when I moved to St. Louis 15 years ago, but I made a mistake....I've had my mattress set since 83. And I believe you're supposed to buy a new one every 10 years or so? Dunno. I think I read it somewhere. Anyway, my back has been aching and I noticed the box springs are sticking outside of the material. (No, not into my back. That would be funny. But sticking out of the side.)Jerilyn Dufresne, authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02720391625949782016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-85773574102875575812007-05-19T10:02:00.000-05:002007-05-19T10:02:00.000-05:00We've had the same bed since 1984 when we moved he...We've had the same bed since 1984 when we moved here and our Queen size box springs wouldn't go up the stairs. Guess it helps tha only one of us use it at a time.

Cody wins though. His bed was MY bed from the time I got out of the crib, which was MY MOM's bed since she was 12. So the bed and box springs were bought in 1948. That bed was so comfy! (we replaced the mattress/box springs with MOM's in 2003 after she passed away) Thank you MOM!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7322841.post-53842617552454268392007-05-19T09:33:00.000-05:002007-05-19T09:33:00.000-05:00Wow, can't believe you've been there that long.
