But I got contacted by Fox News in New York City to be a guest on their show tomorrow and they wanted to know if I could get to NY. (I think they were paying for it, not sure.)
This was all because of my article about Oprah's weight and how she's now my best friend. I was so excited, but they changed their minds because real news intervened. They did say they may come back to this, but I'm not holding out much hope.
I'll just try to keep writing articles about offbeat things in the news and see what happens.
Thanks a million for your support. Love you.

Wow, how cool was that to even be asked. Never say never... it may come up again when you least expect it.
You got that right, Jilly.
I see you more as a CNN guest.
That's really exciting. Now you know you're family is not the only ones reading your articles. I always thought you were a great writer, nice to see you recognized.
personnally, I'm going with the "you are not going to believe this" line.
Good one Jer, you hoodwinked them all!
Andrea, you're the CNN type. You like to talk about important stuff. I'm more of a pop culture gal. :)
Jan, thanks. That means a lot.
Cindy, I love you. That's all I have to say.
That is so completely cool. Keep up the good work, mom. We're so proud of you! So when moms make it on TV, to whom do they wave and say hi?
(If you're not sure, you're welcome to use Chili. He watches TV and would love the exposure.)
Does this mean you don't love me? I'm hurt. :-)
I admit I'm fascinated by Fox. How did they contact you? Can you imagine being grilled by O'Reilly?
Of course I love you, Andrea. It was just that Cindy was being sarcastic, so I was being nice rather than sarcastic in return. She's watching my cats while I'm gone. (Love you, Cindy.)
Andrea, it wasn't the national Fox News. It was the NYC affiliate. They sent me an email. I still can't believe it.
Rob, you crack me up.
