8/25 Why?

Saturday and Sunday I felt absolutely remarkable. No pain at all except for three or four intense attacks that lasted only minutes each. Same this morning. But after lunch everything started again.

I don't know what I did wrong, if anything. But it is sure depressing. Maybe it's because I felt so good that I didn't use my walking stick. Perhaps I overdid it. Who knows.

Or maybe it's because I forgot to sacrifice a chicken.

I sacrificed a chicken for dinner. It was delicious. Of course, you're a vegetarian... hmmmm. Try a tofurky.

I think if you sacrificed a chicken in my honor it will count. I plan on an awesome day because of you, my friend.

At least your appointment in St. Louis is next week. I hope your back holds out until then and you can get some more answers and hopefully be on your way to being pain free (or close to it). You are in my thoughts. Love you tons!

I'm a meatatarian myself....It's a life choice and it takes a lot of
commitment.

Thanks, Jill. You're right. I'm looking forward to seeing what the neurosurgeon says next week. Love you.

Joe, at least you're good at it. That's a good thing.

I worry when you don't post. I hope it's because you're busy, busy having fun, or resting and not because you're in physical pain.

Nancie, thanks for worrying about me. I'm okay. Just too busy. The pain is what it is. Not as bad as before the epidural, and not as good as immediately following. I do look good with my walking stick however. (Will post tonight.)
