I love adventure, but sometimes my life is boring. Like all lives, I guess. So I invented characters whose lives are anything but boring. Check out my books at jerilyndufresne.com

2/16 I said YES
Just got in and am way too tired to post. But I called Austin and said YES! Will post details tomorrow. It should be a short day at the disaster mill.
Congrats Jer. You will do a great job. Jan and I were talking last night and said that is the type of work you are made to do. We are very proud of you.
I know it was a tough decision to make for you, and I am sure their were many pros and cons to weigh, but I too, from the little I know think it was a very wise choice. It is not like it has to be your life long career, but it will pay the bills and provide you with healtcare should you need it. You have always been far to independent not to be on your own anyway. Quincy will always be here, and your kids will always be accessable too...and if you hate it, you can walk away. I do wish you the best, and Good Luck in this new adventure in your life!
You guys are great, and so supportive. If I didn't know better I'd say you are all relieved that I'm not landing in Quincy. (Made myself laugh with that one.)
Mom - I'm sure you will do great work and help a lot of people just as you have done with the Red Cross job. I am glad that you've found a job that you can still have such an impact on people and make their lives better. Love and support from CA.
I would like you in Quincy. I think it would be awesome to have everybody here but I know in this day and age, it isn't possible. You are good about visiting though. Good luck with this new job. I hope you'll write about your new adventures.
hey,,,,what about me and Andrea????dont' you love us too????I would love it if you lived in Quincy, as long as it is not with me HAHAHA Besides you'd have to sleep with Cody, and it would be really hard to run the Mississippi Disaster Agency from here!
Good luck at your new job and new home.....should at least be warmer weather than Wisconsin! Hope the move goes with no hitchs.....and hurrican season is brief and monor this year!

mhCongratulations Jer! Who knew when you left Wisconsin that you'd end up in Mississippi! Your life is truly an adventure.

Thanks, Jill and Kelly. Love you both.

Yes yes yes, I love you and Andrea too. And I always appreciate the fact that you post, so I don't feel like I'm talking to myself. :)
So when are you guys coming down to gamble? It's only a 12 hour drive.
Don't mention gambling...you'll have a half a dozen Bozarth's down there before you know it and you haven't even found a place to live yet! :)
That's the whole point, Kelly; they can help me move in. :) I have the moving company carrying everything in, I just need help putting it away.
Of course, you're right. I have to find a place to live first.
Good luck at your new job and new home.....should at least be warmer weather than Wisconsin! Hope the move goes with no hitchs.....and hurrican season is brief and monor this year!
