6/29 Quincy, poor, poor thing

They are taking blood and urine, and will be doing full blood panels and urinalysis in Louisiana. It costs $235. The reason they have to do this is that her urine was clear in the test they did at the vet's. And of course there was nothing wrong with it. So her "every 10 minute" urination from last night has to be from the pelvic bladder. She will be evaluated for medical therapy and/or surgery.

She's so expensive, but I love her. She's the only family I have here, and I'm going to do everything I can.

But I'm sad. Poor little thing.

Kirby got sick this morning and gave me enough warning, that with running he made it outside. Unfortunately, I no more than shut the door and walked in the kitchen, only to find dried vomit on the rug by the door.(he knew he had to go out, but no one up to let him) He must have gotten sick in the night too. I hate having a sick pet, b/c I never know what to do about it...is it starve a cold feed a fever? He seems better now...I hope Quincy gets better soon. I know I could not afford those kinds of bills. Good luck to you both

I can't afford it either. But there's such a good chance that the medicine and/or surgery can make her better, that I don't want to give up on her. She's already driving me crazy tonight, so tomorrow morning I'm going to buy some puppy pads. She's very well house-trained, but just can't control this. Poor Q.

Hopefully it will be something that can be fixed. I hope she feels better soon. I can only imagine the worry until you hear back about the tests. Hopefully you'll get good news!

Thanks, Andrea. Last night I had a good cry, and Q got worried and kept licking my face. I think I felt even worse because of lack of sleep. Things look better today.
