6/1 Fun stuff, I think!

So busy at home getting ready for the Avon Walk. I'm doing a pretty good job of preparing. Still a lot to do tonight. And I don't know what we're doing tomorrow. We'd planned to say at my brother and s-i-l's house but her Mom is in the hospital and we don't want to be an imposition. Other options are to go to a motel or have Jan, Jane and Deb drive on up to my place and stay Thursday night here. Hope I find out soon--I'll need to change my sheets and empty the trash if company's coming.

And I just looked at the CSz website for registration for the World Championship in August. The LA folks really went out of their way to develop a website that is exciting and user-friendly. That week promises to be a lot of fun.

Right now, gotta run. Have a teleconference in three minutes.

Hi Jer,

This week is the MKE 'Blog of the Week' semi-finals, round No. 1. The ten blogs who won in their respective 'Blog of the Week' polls in the past 10 weeks are facing off against each other. There will be four semi-final rounds this year, and the winners of each semi-final round will go on to the finals. One will be crowned the 'MKE Blog of the Year.'

'My life's not an adventure...' won the Blog of the Week poll in week 3, so you are included in this first semi-final round. The voting page is at www.mkeonline.com/people/blogcontest.asp . If you have questions about the semi-finals or any other aspect of the Blog of the Week poll, feel free to e-mail me at webmaster@mkeonline.com. Voting is open until June 8.

Congratulations and good luck from MKE!
