Lots of travel to look forward to:
1/15 to LA with Jill and her family (yay!)
1/21 fly from LA to New Orleans
1/22 check out the Louisiana operation
1/23 check out the Mississippi operation
1/23 fly to North Carolina
Looking at both the Louisiana and Mississippi operations will give me all the information I need to make an informed decision. I'm very excited about it.
And seeing my beautiful grandkids will make the trip especially wonderful. Haven't seen them since September, so I'm desperate to do so. Kayla said she thought we could make it a really special trip if we went to Build a Bear. How cute.
Life is good.

What Kayla leaves out is that it costs around $50 by the time you build a bear or other type of animal and then buy clothing for it. She still doesn't get how much things costs.... only that she know that she likes them :-). See you soon.
I love it, Jill.
She's a sweetie. And I just got my expense check from the Red Cross, so I will have a little bit to spend on them. YaY.
Jer,
When you make a decision, go for the place located closest to the mighty Mississipi river. You still have riverboat blood based on your stint in St. Louis!! Good luck on your interviews.
Steve
PS Swing by Kiln, Mississippi and say hi to Brett for me!
Yeah, I'll go there with my Packer hat on. :)
And I grew up in Quincy which is on the Mississippi River.
When John & I were in Ca. I got bears for Aiden-to-be and Ty-to-be...what an experience. Choosing the bears and putting your love inside was such a special event...I had a smile all day thinking of it and their bears.I can only imagine how much better it would be making a bear WITH the grandchild...have fun with Kayla and Hunter!
Paulette, thanks for sharing your experience. I didn't know about the "love" part. That sounds awesome. Now I'm really looking forward to it.
Jeff, now that's funny. And it's great to see Joe be the target instead of Jan or me. :)
