10/18 I arrived

My connecting flight was canceled so I arrived in NC a few hours late. Rob picked me up in Raleigh and we had a fun drive to Sanford. Beata arrived shortly after we got home. She made a delicious dinner and we relaxed afterward.

Bea made a confession to me--she confessed that she can't wait to become a citizen so she can vote. And she's decided to be a Democrat. I whooped with joy. The two of us against the rest of the family. YES!

The zoo were all thrilled to see me. Since I miss my dogs, it's nice to have three of them fawn over me.

Get that citizenship fast, Beata!

Does it really have to be an 'us' against 'them' situation? Shouldn't it be what is best for our country?!?!?

Hillary for President! I love her ideas on health care. No more health insurance premium payments. Our country deserves a leader with compassion. Hillary will make sure the rich don't get richer. Poverty could be over in America with her at the helm. I'm sure she'd stop the wars.

Ok - you have to be kidding right?? - Who do you think is going to pay for the health insurance premiums?? Doctors, pharamcists, etc. are not going to work free of charge - someone is going to have to pay their fees?? Hum, wonder who - maybe the 'middle' class that will be shrinking and shrinking with more government control under dear ol' Hilary!

Socialized medicine is not the answer. Sick people wait months and in some cases years for medical care. Private patients in those countries get decent care only when they can afford to pay for it.

How about arguing with yourself somewhere else? Thanks.

Hey, Dave--I agree with you. :)

Beata, that is so exciting that you are going to become a citizen of the United States! God Bless America! Since your husband (Hi Rob!) is in the service, I think the US should grant you citizenship immediately on those grounds alone.

Hey guys! I haven't even applied for the citizenship yet, but will do it as soon as I get some spare time. And I am glad I got to think and pick my own party (not going where my husband is going...ha!ha!ha! ;-)
It was so wonderful to have Mom here, but unfortunately she stayed only overnight! What a turn down... :( I think Mom put the alarm on on purpose--it was really a lot of fun and we got to spend more time together. :-)
