I love adventure, but sometimes my life is boring. Like all lives, I guess. So I invented characters whose lives are anything but boring. Check out my books at jerilyndufresne.com

5/30 Happy birthday, Mom!
Mom would have been 81 today. Sadly she died when she was younger than I am--at 55. Still miss her.
Never thought I'd say this, but I stole something from my brother Joe's blog. A picture of eight of us with Mom and Dad at Jay's wedding. Anyone (who is NOT a relative) want to guess which one is me? Yes, it's one of the standing females. No jokes, Joe.

Yes, I know! You are the one with the purple-patterned dress with the white flower on it. :-))))))
Nice picture of all of you, Mom. I love it!
I said only guess if you weren't a relative. You read too fast, just like me. :)
Yes, the girls are Jane, Jan, and Jer, in that order...
Boy, those guys are looking good in those tuxes! What a fun picture to see first thing this morning. Thanks Jer. See you Thursday. And Happy Birthday, Mom!
Karen
Can't wait, Karen!
I think it is sad that the GROOM is stuck way in the back, where it is almost too dark to see him. What a great time I had at that wedding...remember the leaning tower of cake? and Jane AND I BOTH caught the bouquet?(but of course I got to marry first) The best part of course was it was a rare time Dad was feeling pretty good, so we are so lucky to have a picture of the whole family together. You all look so good....and so slim.
It's a great picture taken on one of the happiest days of my life!
funny Andrea, you didn't look that happy when Jay was singing to you ;o)though I remember I was crying my eyes out. I also remember being at the house before the wedding and Jay came out to show us the smile he was practicing in front of the mirror. He was so cute, and so nervous. Indeed a great day with freezing temps and TONS of snow.
I remember it was the year before I moved back to Quincy. It was such a fun wedding and recption. And yes, I cherish the pic with both Mom and Dad in it.
Dark dress, corsage, right side. The SMILE gives it away!!! -- Gretchen
Yep, that's me, Gretchen. I did a reading so I got a neat corsage.
