2/18 Cold as a witch's...

house if the witch lived in Wisconsin.

I've not felt warm all day. When I woke up this morning, it was -14 F but it was -40 F with the wind chill. Needless to say I didn't go out.

What I did do was finish my taxes. Finally. And I'm getting a refund this year which is nearly unheard of for me. Hooray.

Mom, just take a nice, warm, and fuzzy blanket, make some hot cocoa and enjoy your evening in bed! It works on the worse cold temperatures--believe me! You could also add a hot guy to this scenario, but just hot cocoa is good too.

In my experience, even a warm guy works. Either way, you're good to go. Just don't make eye contact. It gets too weird.

Mom, that's why we have all his "buddies" overnight here so often, and somehow they all end up with Rob in his sleeping bag! Should I be concern? hmmmmm.....
But, just follow my advice, after all--I am a girl, like you. I know what we need to stay warm.

Okay, I think you've crossed a line here. Now I have to kick your dog.

Bella!? Come here, turd!!!!

I did everything except the hot guy suggestion. I'd have to leave home to find that commodity, and it's just too cold to go out.

Jer- brrrrrrrrr that's cold!
I think it was 15 degrees here in southern Indiana this morning, then got up into the upper twenties. What's weird is that it was in the fifties three days ago! lol
Stay warm :)

Yeah, Jeff, it's been the weirdest winter ever. I'm still cold, even with staying in all day. Brrrr. Have to go out tomorrow morning; am going to a coffee house to do some writing, instead of staying home with distractions.

Rob, it's weird enough that you're even talking to me about this.

Gee mom, you wonder why I don't consider moving back to WI after living here in sunny California? Anyway, stay as warm as you can and good luck with the writing and venturing out tomorrow. Love you!

Mom, a hot guy is just a phone call away! Or maybe they don't have the escort services in Wisconsin??? Well, I am just trying to help...

Beata, you're just bad! But you make me laugh.

Jill, if you and Todd would move back here with the kids, I'd personally guarantee excellent weather.
